Dr. Stanley Sugarman is one of the co-founders of Northwest Medical Associates along with Dr. Alan Jones. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago in 1983 after receiving his B.S. degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his 3 year Internal Medicine residency at Providence Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Sugarman is currently board certified in Internal Medicine. He has also been involved in hyperbaric medicine as well as having been board certified in geriatrics.
Dr. Sugarman places an emphasis on preventative medical care as well as diagnosis and treatment of both simple and complex medical problems. He believes in educating his patients so that they can play an active role in making their Health care decisions.
His hobbies include photography, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He has a 14 year old daughter and a 17 year old son.
